
The Equality Act 2010 has passed into law (8th April 2010). Its main provisions will come into force from 1st October 2010

Main provisions - October 2010
Integrated public sector Equality Duty, the Socio-economic Duty and dual discrimination protection - April 2011
Age discrimination extension to goods, facilities, services and public functions - 2012
Private and voluntary sector gender pay transparency regulations (assuming employers have not already done enough) - 2013
