John Hamey MA (Cantab) ACIArb
Though now specialising in two very different areas, personal injury, clinical negligence and mental health on the one hand, and claims arising from the mis-selling of financial services on the other, John's past experience covers a wide range of work including employment, consumer credit, contract and commercial, landlord and tenant, partnership disputes, criminal law – both for prosecution and defence, in areas such as health and safety, VAT and betting duty frauds.
ADR is a long-standing interest, with John first qualifying with the Academy of Experts in 1995, moving on to set up with three others a company,
Adroit Dispute Resolution Limited, based in Norwich. John is accredited as a mediator by
ADR Chambers (UK) (2002), and is a member of its panel of mediators.
John is on the RAPID panel of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as a specialist Personal Injury Mediator.
