Emma Cattermull LL B

Emma joined Chambers following the successful completion of her pupillage.

Initially, she had a common law practice, undertaking all aspects of criminal, civil and family work.  However she is now developing a strong and successful civil practice.

Emma has the experience, knowledge and skills to provide a service in a broad range of civil law disciplines, including areas such as contract, credit hire, employment law, injunction proceedings (including ASBI and ASBO), Inheritance Act claims, insolvency proceedings, landlord and tenant disputes, possession claims and personal injury.

She represents both Claimants and Defendants in fast track and small claim trials, interim hearings, CMC’s, damages assessments, infant approval hearings and regularly appears in the Coroner’s Court.

Emma also frequently appears on behalf of Applicants and Respondents in private law proceedings both in the Family Proceedings and County Courts.

Whilst appearing in Court almost every day, Emma also enjoys a busy paperwork practice and although being primarily focused upon personal injury claims, she has experience of drafting statements of case and advising in a broad range of civil matters.
