Lynne comes from a military and medical background, having served in the regular Army for 8 years. Her experience of Army life means that Lynne has a detailed understanding of military procedure and its impact on the Criminal Justice System. Clients will gain from her knowledge of the courts martial procedure as she sat as a member on the Courts Martial Board and, in private practice, has been instructed in courts martial proceedings.
Lynne has developed a practice in which she both prosecutes and defends a wide range of criminal offences. She has a special flair for dealing with serious sexual offences, many of which involve children. Lynne easily gains the confidence of, and quickly establishes a rapport with, her lay and professional clients, as well as witnesses. She has wide ranging experience of clients and witnesses who are young, vulnerable and who have mental health difficulties.
Lynne has successfully prosecuted and defended cases involving serious sexual offences, including rape, serious offences of violence, conspiracy, fraud and drugs offences, amongst others.
Lynne is a robust practitioner who will tirelessly fight her lay and professional clients’ corner.
She is happy to give both oral and written advice as necessary.
