Nick joined East Anglian Chambers in 2003, having successfully completed his pupillage here. He has recently re-located to Norwich to further develop his practice within that region. Nick has developed a successful practice, predominantly in Family law. He is instructed in public and private family law proceedings for parents, Guardians and local authorities. He is also experienced in ancillary relief and ToLATA matters.
Within his civil practice Nick is instructed by public and private sector housing associations. He has particular experience in possession hearings where he has represented the local authority and defendants, as for example in Braintree District Council v Vincent [2004] EWCA Civ 415 (procedural issues where secure tenant has permanently ceased to reside in demised premises due to ongoing care need - whether notice required).
Nick has a very approachable manner and is happy to provide assistance, both formally and informally, at any stage in a case.
